Zonneweide Oostrumsdijkje will cover 16 hectares, of which 1 hectare will be made available for extra planting and biodiversity. The meadow will generate approximately 15,200兆瓦 of sustainable electricity annually, which is sufficient for the electricity consumption of approximately 4,300 households in the municipality. The solar meadow will thus make a substantial contribution to making the energy supply in Houten more sustainable. Statkraft works according to the Sun on Land Code of Conduct.
